In January 2000, when my father's health was seriously deteriorating, the only time he showed interest in life when was when he was reminiscing. So I decided to reminisce with him. Weekly I would visit and we would talk about his life. I would tape record the interviews and then write his life story. So began this project that I hoped would give him something to look forward to.
